Dude, I umpired 6 games today, 4 behind the plate. It was upper 90s today with a Heat Index of more than 100 degrees. My feet have never hurt so bad or been so swollen in my life. I can barely even keep my eyes open, I’m so tired. I could go on and on complaining, but I can’t. I have to go to sleep so I can do it all over again tomorrow. Good thing I love my job. By the way, I ejected player today for plowing over the catcher on a play at the plate. Remember what I was saying last post about their “Field of Dreams”. Well, it looks for some of these, this is their field of frustrations. More on that later…

I bet you absolutely loved getting the chance to toss somebody.
Next time I see you, remind me to tell you my favorite umpire story relating to ejections.
And that time should be pretty soon, I’ll be back in Arkadizzle pretty soon.

Man, I used to LOVE playing baseball. I was actually really good at it, believe that or not! :O) In fact, I always thought I’d play in college and see where it took me, but alas, God had other plans and He called me into worship ministry. I think He knew what He was up to, because no matter how good I was at baseball, it doesn’t compare to what God has in store for me in ministry! :O) Love ya bro!
