Helpless is when someone that you love deeply makes decisions that will horrendously handicap his future, decisions that he thinks are good, but knows are bad. And I, I can only stand aside as he rips his own future apart limb by limb. It’s his life.

Hey that sounds like a parent’s position. We guide our children abut, at some point you have to let go let God. They get bumped and bruised some times hurt for life but, we all have free choice/will.
